The air condition in the room too cold
I increase set point to 30 deg.C. But it's still cold inside the room while outside is very hot.

A quick overview
This was my first experience at the Golden Tulip, having stayed at other properties on previous visits. While the overall experience was satisfactory, there are some issues the hotel should work on:
- Reception at arrival needs to be improved. You should make the guest feel more welcome, as well as explain basic issues such as internet access provisions at the outset.
- Menu selection is very limited, especially for vegetarians and for those looking ofr some Indian cuisine. I had a guest for lunch and could not offer him much from the menu.

My stay at Golden Tulip
I actually filled in the form in my room making a few points. The hotel was average but the room was particularly poor. The carpet was stained and dirty, on the first night (19th May) the windows would not open and their locks were broken and the toilet would not flush. These were repaired during the following day. However, by the 21st May, the toilet was not flushing again and I could not charge either my lap top or my phone because two sets of electrical outputs were not functioning and as a result two lampstands were not working also. The swimming pool was fair but the water was far too hot to swim or exercise in. My stay at Golden Tulip Seeb was very disappointing. However, the staff were very kind and polite. you need to really change your beds and the wardrobes. beds were really uncomfortable. that is why I had to give value for money 1. since I paid around $200 per night which you see alot better quality all around the world for a same price or lesser...

location
very good location for all travellers arriving or leaving Muscat.
Services are good, but reception desk is only fair compared with others hotels in Oman

A convenient airport hotel
I spent one night at the Golden Tulip Seeb Muscat Oman and was satisfied with the staff attitude and food and room quality. I got a deluxe room which has new carpeting and a comfortable bed - a marked improvement from a previous visit about a year ago. The hotel staff were helpful and pleasant, the shuttle to the airport worked well, food was nice. The location so close to Muscat Airport is a great for an early morning departure. Well placed hotel
Excellent hotel, close to airport. Visited twice, both times helpful and courteous service. Comfortable rooms and good breakfast. Definitely to be recommended if you are arriving late and don't want to face the Muscat traffic immediately.
